Randomness

I was looking at some pictures and came across some random ones. It made me realize that I need to organize our pictures a little better. Enjoy!

He fell onto my foot and scraped his nose on my toe!

He was throwing a fit and wouldn't let me get him dressed. He fell asleep mid- fit!

The Nutcracker

Tracen has been taking dance this year. Miss Margene teaches dance as well as preschool and there was an all boy class this year! They met once a week right after preschool. They were teddy bears in the play and did an awesome job! Here's a peak at what when on.

Waiting at dress rehearsal

Dress rehearsal. I'm not sure why the picture is so blurry.

What do a bunch of little boys do while waiting backstage for their turn on stage? Eat Funions- good thing they don't sing!...

Make silly faces...

And watch a movie- Polar Express
Plus a little bit of running around and getting dressed.

I am so proud of Tracen. I wasn't sure if he would do it- especially two nights in a row, but he did. He has loved dance which also surprises me, but we'll let him do it as long as it is something he enjoys. I hope there's an all boy class next year too.

The Big 0-4

Tracen turned 4 this year and we decided to let him have a birthday party with friends. He wanted a pirate theme so that's what he got.

On his actual birthday we went bowling- he's done that every year.

Christmas-Time 2009

Okay, so I'm going backwards- in two ways. 1. This was all before our Orlando trip. 2. This entry starts on Christmas Day and goes backwards. Sorry- I can't get my pictures to move once I get them in here. Maybe someday I'll figure this out.

Skelton party

Grandma's gone digital!

Christmas Day sledding. We had so much fun I think we will make this one of our family traditions!

Chad and Tracen going down the hill. AHHH!

Being crazy!

Tracen's gift from Santa. He has so much fun but practices his numbers and letters at the same time. That tricky Santa!

I figured we'd better match them while they don't care.

Seeing the presents Santa brought

Christmas Eve- Grandma Dewitt got them matching PJs

Tracen has tools just like Grandpa!

Hello?

Thaxton Party. Cousin Scott playing the piano- we all love it when he starts playing!

Uncle "Awesome" with Myles

Tracen's preschool Christmas program. He did awesome! (His mom not so much- I didn't dress him in red and green like EVERY other kid!)

Orlando 2009 continued

I don't know if it was blogger or my computer that wouldn't let me put more photos on my last post, but here is the rest of our trip. (Well, not all of them. I tend to go a little photo crazy so we have tons!)

This was a cool mini-golf course we went to. The course went up so it was in a smaller space than we were used to. It was neat. They also had alligators you could feed and waterfalls and old planes and cars as their decor.

We took the kids to Animal Kingdom while we were there. Here is the family with Mickey Mouse- star of the show!

On our "Safari Ride"

Tracen was playing with the drums and then this guy came and started playing with him. Tracen wasn't so sure at first but then he just drummed along.

The tree of life behind us.

This was in the dinosaur part. Tracen loved these slides because they were so "curvy". He would start down one of them on the opposite side of where he came out and he thought it was cool.

Tracen would never had done this when he was this little. But Myles loved the characters.

Orlando Temple

Orlando 2009

Well, I'm attempting to catch up on our blog. I'm a slacker! We went to Orlando the week after Christmas last year. It was a lot colder than we expected, but we still had a lot of fun. Although, we decided that we would not go that far again until the kids are older. Here are some pictures from our adventures.

Tracen on the pony ride at the flea market. And yes, his sweatshirt is on backwards. I couldn't get him to fix it.

Crazy hair!

Happy boy

We saw a lot of alligators around. It was a little creepy.

The Kennedy Space Museum was awesome. There was so much to see. This is just part of this spacecraft and look how huge! I would love to go back- possibly without the kids so I could explore longer.

On the bus. This was part of your admission - they took you to different parts and showed where space shuttles (or space ships if your Tracen) took off and where different things happened. There is so much that goes into getting astronauts in space!

Just to give you an idea of how big this building is: the stripes on the flag are wide enough to fit a city bus in them and the stars are over 6 feet tall each.
